I know you want to identify with a habit or a hobby or a click or a niche or a vibe or an ethos just like the rest of every one of us.
But I’ll just say this before you proceed with that.
Find what fits for you — in the now
Make sure it fits you, & get your house cleaned for it.
Prep for the process
We are compelled so often to try to shoot the “Hail Mary” & go for the perceived “gold” of what we think will carry us to our highest authentic emulation.
I want to write, do public speaking, master audio & video editing…
However
My body is shot, needs repair, & likely the rhythm of my day can use an overhaul before all of that gets underway.
You have to necessitate foundation before true emulation can naturally occur
The “fake it til you make it” rule can still apply — my contention to this preemptive approach toward our “will to power” is that while we may produce & stay diligent on our curiosities, yielding progress & results.
Find something that you are jazzed about, & run a check on whether that’s going to produce your desired outcomes, under the current situation you find yourself in.
If it seems like there are some impediments: mind, body, friends, accountability, situation, hindrances, addictions, sleep deprivation —
hit the pause button.
I get it if you have problems and the thing that helps you keep calm and carry on is your muse. Same deal here. Keep going on that to stay balanced.
I’m talking about your ambitions, of future things spawned from a longing in the here and now within you.
This way, you will be able to set the stage for your being to be ready to FULLY express itself in its utmost glory, with less of the tailspin, wonky output, & misdirected focus.
We all must do what is in our hearts.
But we can’t push pieces we haven’t been stellar at aside & expect to have it all go swimmingly (in the mind & in the craft) during new life adventures.
