This week, we're taking you along as we explore some of Bangkok's wonderful orchid shops. Beautifully displayed plants, spectacular flowers and the kind of selection that makes you wish you had brought an extra suitcase!
Having spent so many years in the orchid nursery business ourselves, visiting shops like these is especially interesting. We don't just see beautiful flowers. We find ourselves looking at the quality of the plants, how they're grown, how they're presented and what makes these businesses so appealing to orchid enthusiasts.
There is a whole world of orchids beyond the few varieties we typically see in our local shops.
And that's part of what we want to share through The Nature Company. After more than 30 years in horticulture, we've learned that some of the most valuable knowledge comes from getting out, meeting growers, visiting nurseries and seeing how things are done elsewhere.
Our Thailand videos are an opportunity to take you along on that journey, sharing not just what we've learned about growing orchids, but the experiences and people that have shaped our understanding of them.
And perhaps that's the most exciting thing about orchids. No matter how long you've been growing them, there's always something new to discover.
