Yesterday, on June 6 2023 at night russian terrorists blew up Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant. Tens of towns and villages are under water, thousands animals died. Zoo in Nova Kakhovka (occupied by russians since March 2022) – all animals. About 1500 people have been evacuated. russians attacked Kherson during evacuation of civilians.
Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant was the source of water for millions of people in south of Ukraine, it was a source of water for agriculture in Kherson, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia regions.
Oleshky – town on the left bench of the Dnipro, occupied by russians since March 2022, is underwater. russian occupants do not evacuate people there and other towns and villages under their occupation.
The United Nations on Tuesday morning, when news about Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant were spread, made a post about russian language on their twitter account. I can't find words for those cynical bastards.
Another slap in the face – eco activists. There is real ecological disaster right here, right now, with a shortage of food as a consequence in the nearest future. And they all silent.
Yesterday in the morning volunteers from all over Ukraine went to Kherson to help with evacuation, people are opening their homes for those, who lost home. Animals are being rescued from water. These things are keeping my hope alive.
But it's still very dangerous, because Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is occupied by russians, and if world does not react on Kakhovka Hydro Power Plant disaster, what will stop russians to blew up Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant?
