I’m currently working on a post about the language philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein. He had this complex thinking about language, but his thought, I think, is interesting to investigate.
Even though I don’t touch upon this in my post, Wittgenstein is a hero of mine, because when he had finished his thesis about language—in fact he argued that he had finished of philosophy itself—he soon realised that he had been mistaken, and that his work in fact amounted to nothing. To be able to reproach his work to this extent, to throw everything out and start anew, is truly astonishing.
