I wrote Stay The Course for every young advocate who has ever stood in a courtroom with trembling hands. I have stood there too.

There was a time when I doubted whether I belonged in that silent, watchful space. The walls felt taller. The seniors seemed larger than life. The law felt heavier than my confidence. But what I slowly discovered, over three decades of practice, is this:

The courtroom does not demand perfection. It demands perseverance.
