Hello ham radio & mountain friends. My name is Tim N7KOM. 
My Youtube channel is all about exploring the outdoors with ham radios. My passion is portable ops and Summits on the Air. The goal with all my videos to impart a sense of what operating on a mountaintop feels like. Sometimes it is fun, sometimes difficult, and often both. 

I've been sharing my morse code journey and want to encourage others to try learning. Many thanks to the patient operators who worked me while I was initially learning. It can be very scary to get On-The-Air with CW for the first time. By sharing my experience on YouTube, I hope other operators new to the mode try getting OTA too!
