This update comes to you from an off-grid tiny house in the middle of a cow pasture in Idaho. My YL, our dogs, and I are out here for her birthday and to bike along the Weiser River Trail. The river trail is 80 miles long and features over 60 bridge crossings! We'll certainly be back to ride the whole thing sometime.
Since I'm away from my computer and unable to edit videos shot with my good cameras, I thought it would be fun to attempt short cellphone camera-only videos. To do this I'm documenting every aspect of the Yaesu FT-60r handietalkie radio.
Hands down my favorite 2m/70cm HT radio is the Yaesu FT-60r. It is an excellent analog radio with 5 watts transmit power and a great receiver that won't get easily overwelmed by RF from radio & TV towers. This makes it a fantastic HT for VHF Summits on the Air.
