Hi, I’m Paul, the developer behind myUSBdrive.
I created myUSBdrive because I wanted a simple, more personal way for people to access and share their own data without having to upload it to services like iCloud, OneDrive or Google.
With those platforms, free storage is limited and your files are governed by someone else’s rules. myUSBdrive puts you back in control, letting you keep your data where it belongs on your own device, while still being able to access and share it from anywhere.
It’s completely free for home use because I believe everyone should have an easy way to keep their data in their own hands.
With just a Raspberry Pi and a USB drive, you can set up your own personal cloud. Stream your movies and TV shows, listen to your music, and browse your photos from anywhere, without needing technical know-how or relying on third-party services.
