Hi beautiful. I'm Yvonne. I am a Nigerian dyke poet, filmmaker, performer, fashion designer, visual artist, educator and author. I am deeply passionate about self-expression, my own and inspiring others to be their beautiful true selves.

I create gender expansive, size inclusive fashion that centers Nigerian aesthetics. I paint. I am an educator who creates workshops that healing, arts & activism and encourages others to take care of themselves emotionally and spiritually as they create art and engage in activism. I write stories, poems, essays and books that center marginalized stories, specifically that highlight the experiences, joys and heartaches of African queer women and nonbinary people. I make films of the concepts, images and stories that are precious to me. Oh and I also have a podcast, NIGERIAN DYKE REALNESS, where I talk about mental health, music, pop culture and whatever I feel like.
