Hi, I'm Szilvi, the creator of MyLittleHungary.
Born and raised in Budapest, I have spent years exploring Hungary and sharing its hidden gems, local stories and unforgettable experiences with visitors from around the world.
What started as a passion project has grown into a travel blog dedicated to helping people discover not only Budapest's famous landmarks but also the charming towns, cultural treasures and lesser-known places that make Hungary so special.
Many of the places I write about are connected to my own memories, family traditions and personal experiences. From childhood trips to Szentendre and Lake Balaton to discovering hidden corners of Budapest with my Cuban husband, every article is written from a local perspective and with genuine love for this country.
