One of the central ideas in spirituality is to dissolve the ego and reach enlightenment.
When I think about enlightenment, two things come to mind: Buddha and nature.
There is something extraordinary about nature. Its power goes beyond words.
When you are deep in a forest, you can feel the force of life all around you. It goes beyond your thoughts and touches something deep within your soul.
Suddenly, your everyday worries seem so small and unimportant. You begin to feel connected to something much bigger than yourself.
Perhaps it's no coincidence that Buddha is said to have reached enlightenment while sitting beneath a tree.
My goal with this music was:
To create something simple, yet profound. Something that can help us go deeper into our spiritual practice.
After all, enlightenment is often described as something remarkably simple, yet so vast that words can never fully explain it.
I hope this music can capture a little of that feeling.
I called this musical journey Wisdom of the Forest, bringing together the stillness of Buddha and the timeless wisdom of nature.
