Hi, I'm Muhammet Şafak. I've been writing software since 2008, and today I work as a Staff Engineer on high-traffic distributed systems. I pick the technology for the problem, not the language: PHP, Go, Python and TypeScript.

In my spare time I build open-source packages and tools, write free ebooks on production systems, and publish research with its method, results and limits, so others can check and repeat it.

All of it is free, and it will stay free. Nothing moves behind a paywall. These projects take time, though, and a coffee helps keep them going. There's no perk or promise in return, just my thanks.
