Proverbs 4:5 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Two things I pull from today’s verse
1. Get wisdom
2. Get understanding
God wants us to be wise. Wisdom usually comes with age, but that’s not always the case. We make wrong assumptions about people and things without knowing or understanding all the facts it entails. We may even view things with the wrong motive, heart posture or perspective. We can’t trust ourselves we need God’s wisdom to lean on in our lives. The kind of wisdom that God wants us to have is not worldly or self centered but supernatural from him. My prayer is that God would give to all those that seek him Godly wisdom. That we see things from his perspective, wisely making decisions and understanding all matters about people and things.
