Hi, I’m Sarah — aka Mrs Hunt.

After 33 years in the beauty industry, I decided it was time for a completely different kind of life. Slower, simpler and hopefully a little cheaper!

I started looking properly at where our money was going and managed to cut £3,657 a year from our outgoings. That’s when Mrs Hunt’s Thrifty Tips began.

Now I’m sharing the things I’m learning along the way — household savings, Vinted, second-hand treasures, selling what we don’t use and finding clever little ways to make our money stretch further.

I’m not a financial expert. I’m simply a woman who decided to stop wasting money and start paying attention.
