SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER
When: 7.00am-8.00am / at your own leisure
Starting from: Larders Coffee Bar, Little Butchers Lane, Mercer Row, Louth, LN11 9JG, open from 6.30am.
Parking: Cattle Market Car Park, free parking all day, every day including weekends, no restrictions apart from the 2.2m Height barrier on entry. Around the other side of the building is for motorhomes from searching online, there is a fee for overnight stays.
This isn’t a ticket — just a small contribution to help confirm numbers for the bikepacking weekend.
It keeps things simple and stops the usual last-minute dropouts.
After processing fees, everything raised will be donated to the Lincs & NottsAir Ambulance Service.
I’ll share the total raised and donation after the event.
Thanks for being part of it.
THE ROUTE - Subject to change - there may a minor tweak during June, but nothing significant. Go Ride It!
----
The Rules
1. You are expected to be fully self-sufficient during the event, if something goes wrong the onus is on you to put it right. There is no broom wagon! And it's only fair to everyone taking part that you are capable of fixing stuff. It's just other people who like riding bikes, riding together. It is NOT A RACE.
2. Being self-sufficient means studying the route, finding places to eat and drink, or finding a place to rest of shelter. There is no organised cafe stop, aside from at the start of event, big thanks to Marcus Young for opening up the Larder Coffee Bar early or all riders - he is also riding the event. This is your adventure, you stop when you want for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
3. Leave no trace, this is the most important rule on this list, DO NOT LITTER anywhere along the route, respect the countryside. Please carry all rubbish with you during your journey - remember you will always find somebody's wheelie bin. =)
4. Get lost? Get unlost!
5. Be Nice, Say Hi!
