What About My Mail?

What About My Mail?

Mar 08, 2025

Some people have friends or family in the States where they can have their mail forwarded. This is a bit of a luxury that not everyone has and also relies o the stability of the other person.

Or, you may think, "screw it! I want nothing more to do with this place.". For practical reasons, hopefully cooler heads prevail.

There are many reasons to continue having a physical mailing address in the States. Credit card companies typically only send your original cards to your US address. You'll still want a State-side address for your Driver's license renewal, taxes, business mail, etc.

A few years ago, I opted for a virtual mailbox and am glad I did. Most come with an app that you can download on your phone. Whenever mail arrives, the mailbox company will send you a screenshot of your mail and then you can decide if you want it forwarded to you or shredded. I don't receive much mail and only have it batch mailed about twice a month. Oh! Did I mention that some services will even do check deposits?!

Below are my links for two popular virtual mailbox companies. The first is called AnytimeMailbox. They have locations throughout the United States and are very reasonably priced.

The second company is called iPostal1. Their link is below.

The companies are similar but have a couple of differences, so I won't make a recommendation between the two as it's really a personal choice.

Expect a verification process for both.
