We’re Takashi, Yoshi, and Sanae. The family translating the Japanese Public Bathhouse wisdom for curious travelers.

MOTTO SENTO is our little bridge between worlds: a brave, warm map and guide that helps you slip into a bathhouse with respect and confidence.

Our mission is to preserve this niche but vital sub-culture that has been part of the Japanese tradition for hundrends of years, as well as guiding tourists that are interested to experience this unique aspect of life.
