🛑 Protect Your Workplace from Unlawful Entry
🚪 Put Up a Sign — Draw a Line.
Your workplace is not a free-for-all.Under the Fourth Amendment, federal agents including ICE have no right to enter non-public areas without a judicial warrant or the employer’s explicit consent.
But will they respect that? - Probablynot.
Will a sign stop them? -Not always.
👉 But having one visible:
- Shows you know your rights
- May give agents pause
- Can support legal defence if your rights are violated

🧠 Why It Matters
Federal agents often rely on confusion or silence to justify entry. For example showing an ice "Administrative Warrant" instead of a judicial one signed by a judge.
A sign educates staff, warns visitors, and may bolster legal action if rights are violated.
⚖️ "They didn’t have a warrant."
⚖️"It was clearly signposted a staff only non public area."
Who knows now, but In normal times, in normal courts, those should still hold weight.
