So for context, I used to use Ko-Fi as a means to get the payment for commissions and tips from people who want to be able to support me. Ko-fi, however, has two payment methods; PayPal and Stripe. Stripe isn't available to me, and PayPal actually blocked my account. Thus all the earnings I made there (that were originally to help my aunt) are now just trapped in perpetual PayPal Purgatory.
I tried to mke a Stripe account or at least connect it in some way, but Ko-Fi didn't have that available to me. And so I migrated to BuyMeACoffee which also has Stripe integration. But it seems it was able to allow me to create an account within it's platform.
And with that, I decided to start a small goal within the service. Around September, I started to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. However it was severely burning me out. And because of that I severely needed to take a break else my physical health suffers. However, that meant that I wouldn't be able to work on my other jobs to provide some basic income. I looked to BuyMeACoffee to earn just a little bit so I could at the very least make groceries for that period.
The goal was around 100 Euros (my account is set to Euros and I don't actually know how to change that). And I was able to earn around 60 before closing the goal. Around November 30, I then set to withdraw the money to be able to do some of the necessities in the household. The transfer is now currently pending, and the status says the deposit will show up the next Wednesday.
I have no idea if that Wednesday is meant to be today (Dec4) or the one after this week (Dec11). But I wanted to at least report to everyone what was going on with the help that you've all so kindly sent my way. If this withdrawal is successful, I might just open commissions again because I'm trying to help family with a disease that popped up.
