Recipe: The Rochester Priory Flan (c.1435)

The medieval monks of Rochester Priory would each year at Easter give their master miller a delicious dairy flan. This download includes a little more history, an original 15th-century recipe, and my own adapted recipe for a sweet, cinnamon-spiced, creamy custard flan.
