Ave all!
We are looking to order an initial run of t-shirts to be sold at events or to other TST members who want to buy one. The initial order will consist of black unisex t-shirts with a single-color (either red or white, not yet decided) print of our logo on the front. We are "passing the hat" among the group to raise some funds for the initial order and minimize the amount of larger out-of-pocket donations or loans our LC team has to contribute to make it happen.
Our Buffalo Contingent Co-Organizer, Nate, has a friend who operates a shirt printing business and can give us a good rate, but the initial run still needs to be paid for up front. To that end, we want to order at least 20 shirts of various sizes (S, M, L, XL, 2X, possibly larger) so we have an assortment for sale.
Here is the price breakdown per shirt for each size after tax:
S-XL = $12 (roughly)
2XL+ = $14 (roughly)
A FEW NOTES:
This collection is only for TSTWNY and Friends of TSTWNY members and will not be shared publicly. Please do not share it outside of this group.
This will be a limited initial run of shirts for sale to our own membership or to the public who attends our events; we're keeping it simple to start and may expand our merch options later.
As we are not yet tax-exempt we will have to cover sales tax on these for now. Eventually when we become tax-exempt we will have our own bank account and tax letter for future purchases.
We would be looking at around $300 for 20 shirts of varying sizes after tax. I would love to be able to order more than 20 and add larger sizes if we can raise the funds for that (closer to $500 after tax).
We are collecting as much as we can toward the upfront cost of the shirts and will order as many as donations allow. The LC team will also make out-of-pocket donations if needed but we are all broke and may need to be paid back from sales, so we want to minimize that as much as possible.
If we collect more than expected ($500+), we could maybe put some of the funds toward 3" round logo stickers since that was the next most popular item in the FB group poll. If that happens, we'll send a sticker to everyone who donates at least $5 in this first round.
To incentivize donations, we are offering a t-shirt in the size of your choice for every $20 you donate. For example, a $20+ donation includes one shirt, a $40+ donation includes 2 shirts, etc.. This is optional; you don't have to order a shirt if you'd rather just donate money, but we are offering it as an incentive if you choose it! If we end up printing stickers, we'll also throw one of those in.
*NOTE: Be sure to email us IMMEDIATELY with your details and shirt size(s) if you pick this option so we know what to order, because we will need to finalize the order soon!
Here is the design we will print, either in white as shown here or possibly replacing the white with red:
I will be collecting all donations and handing them over directly to TSTWNY for the purchase. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for all that you do, and HAIL SATAN!
