As-salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
I'm Mohammed Harun Rashid, a solo developer, and I built Siraat as a sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) for the entire Ummah.
Siraat is now live on iOS and Android, Alhamdulillah — a free Islamic companion app built to help Muslims read, listen, reflect, remember Allah, and stay connected with the Quran every day.

THE PROBLEM I SAW
Many Islamic apps today are bloated with ads, sometimes even inappropriate ones. Some lock Quran translations, tafsir, audio, or basic worship tools behind subscriptions. Others collect more data than they need.
A Muslim trying to grow spiritually should not have to deal with pop-ups between surahs, pay monthly just to read the Word of Allah in their own language, or feel like their spiritual journey is being turned into a product.
That is why Siraat exists.

MY COMMITMENTS
I made three promises when I started this project:
No ads. Ever.
Not even “tasteful” banner ads. Nothing between you and your ibadah.
No premium paywalls.
Every Quran feature, every dua, every dhikr, every guide — free for every Muslim.
No data selling or spiritual tracking.
Siraat does not sell data, does not run ad tracking, and does not monetize your worship. Most app data stays on your device. Optional Quran.com sync is used only when you choose to sign in for sync and community features.
WHY I NEED YOUR HELP
Keeping these promises has a cost.
Apple developer fees, Play Store fees, testing devices, design work, app maintenance, API usage, infrastructure, bug fixing, and hundreds of hours of development all add up.
Right now, this is mostly funded from my own pocket.
Your support — even a single coffee — directly helps:
Keep Siraat 100% free and ad-free
Maintain iOS and Android releases
Add more languages and translations
Improve Quran Reflect and Quran.com sync features
Cover development, testing, and infrastructure costs
Build features requested by the community
Keep content accurate and accessible
Reach more Muslims around the world
THIS IS MORE THAN A DONATION
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for them.”
— Sahih Muslim 1631
Every person who opens Siraat and reads an ayah, every mother who finds a dua for her child, every new Muslim who learns how to pray, every anxious soul who finds comfort in Allah’s words at 3 AM — you may share in that reward, In Sha Allah.
Your contribution is not just keeping an app running.
It is helping someone complete the Quran for the first time.
It is helping a revert learn Wudu.
It is helping a busy Muslim return to dhikr.
It is helping someone reflect on the Quran more deeply.
It is sadaqah jariyah in a digital form.
CAN’T DONATE? YOU CAN STILL HELP
Share Siraat with your family, friends, masjid, and community
Leave a review on the App Store or Play Store
Send feedback and ideas
Make dua for this project and everyone who benefits from it
This is the most beloved support of all.
جَزَاكُمُ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
May Allah reward you with goodness.
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
“Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
— Quran 2:127
