Welcome to our BMC page.

Join us in Dublin for our 9th annual Smartphone Film Festival in 2026 as we come together to celebrate the power and creativity of mobile filmmaking. After years of isolation and disconnection, we've all had to find new ways to share stories and stay connected — and mobile film has played a huge role in that journey.

At the Dublin Smartphone Film Festival, we’re passionate about showcasing the incredible talent of mobile filmmakers. We believe the best camera is the one you have with you, and our mission is to inspire and empower people to tell their stories using the devices in their pockets. From local voices to fresh new perspectives, our festival celebrates originality, innovation, and creativity in mobile film.

So mark your calendars and join us in Dublin for an unforgettable celebration of mobile storytelling. Whether you're an experienced filmmaker or picking up your phone for the first time, you’ll be welcomed into a vibrant, supportive community that shares your love for film.
