This was at 9 am this morning! This is one of the perks of Disneyland being a locals park...the rain scares everyone away!
Now, almost 3 hours later, the only rides that have a little longer wait times are the indoor attractions (Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Toy Story Mania) BUT I just saw Guardians is at 13 minutes which is super rare!
Should I head over there? 😂
My tips for Disneyland in the rain are: bring an umbrella OR poncho. Especially with heavy rain like this, just a jacket is not going to cut it. This will also help keep your bag or backpack dry!
Next, bring shoes that are either waterproof OR don't soak through to your socks! Disneyland is not built for the rain which means puddles form EVERYWHERE and can soak your feet at any moment. Good rain shoes are a MUST.
Lastly, mobile order your food so you don't have to wait even longer to eat. The best covered areas to eat are Hungry Bear Restaurant, Rancho Del Zocalo, Docking Bay 7 and Flo's in DCA.
This storm will pass this evening, then we get another one next week! Yippee! 🌧
