I’m new to this whole genre of online arts and creativity sharing so please bear with me as I learn all the bells and whistles of this site.
Hi. I’m Franc. It’s pronounced Frank and, no, I wasn’t trying to be fancy with the spelling. I picked up the nickname in middle school and was at a lazy point in high school when I first tried to spell it. It’s short for Francess so, rather than teach myself to write it differently, I just… stopped writing sooner? Yup. Just truncated the thing.
I’m a “late diagnosed” AuDHDer with half an alphabet of other things in my medical record further complicating the unmasking and learning who I actually AM process that comes with those diagnoses.
So, I’m an artist. Always have been in one form another. Years of singing and voice training. Years of theater. A lifetime of painting. What I’m not? A sketcher. A drawer. I sketch out outlines before most paintings and, technically, stippling is drawing, but I don’t draw just to draw. Maybe it’s the ADHD but I just get borrrrrred.
This already feels wordy for a first post so I’m going to let go here but I’ll be back. I promise.
