Reopen the abandoned Phonngern School provides free English classes.

Phonngern School has been sitting silent. With your help, we’ll renovate 4 classrooms, 2 toilets, the playgrounds and shared spaces, then reopen with evening English, life-skills training, a small library, and community activities for village kids.

Your donation funds safe, functional classrooms—reliable lighting and fans, sturdy desks and chairs, clean floors, fresh paint, and quality whiteboards—so learning happens in welcoming, safe spaces.

One-time renovation budget (USD)

Ceilings: $2,500

Floors & tiles + wall painting: $4,000

Tables & chairs: $1,500

Electricity setup & safety: $600

Education materials (stationery, whiteboards) + extra tables/chairs + delivery: $3,500

Contingency & logistics buffer: $400

Goal (renovation): $12,500

Monthly operations (TAs, electricity, water, transport fuel, cleaning & supplies): ~$1,500/month.

EEFA Campaign (Equal Education Fund for All) is an initiative created by the MITTAPHAP/Saelao Project that directly supports children and education. It raises funds to ensure every child can access free, equal, and quality education.

The MITTAPHAP is a sustainable development initiative with two locations in Vang Vieng, Laos, and Preah Dak, Cambodia. We’re on a mission to empower rural communities, both locally and nationally, by providing accessible, quality education and skills training. Our efforts foster sustainable livelihoods and promote innovative project management.

We believe that education is the foundation of equality—and we strive to make that belief a reality through hands-on learning, community engagement, and international collaboration.

At the heart of our initiative is a community-led approach to sustainability. With an organic farm, a learning center, and a volunteer hub, we connect education with practical action to create a brighter future for villages.
