Hi. I'm Marissa. I'm in my 30s, a mother of two and I am a neurodivergent zebra spoonie; diagnosed AuDHD with hEDS and POTS and a number of other comorbidities. I'm unable to work and I'm trying to achieve my lifelong goal of becoming the first person in my family to obtain a university degree. My biggest autistic special interest has always been medicine and my dream career was to become a doctor, but with my health issues, I've had to take an alternate route. I'm working towards a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and I plan to go to grad school in the future to study medical anthropology. My aim is to work in academic research and maybe teach online classes. As a disabled person unable to work a typical job, money is tight.
