Ahoy there, I'm kiki.

If you're on this page then you probably already know about mīsmo.. well hi, I made it.

I've had more careers than Barbie and enjoyed being a baker and government worker and massage therapist and translator and legal secretary and mental health counsellor annnd I even had this short stint where I pretended to be a journalist so I could get close to Notre-Dame when it was burning... but, in 2019, I had zero experience in app development - and it's taken me what feels like forever to make this fantasy a reality.

For over 7 years I've been dreaming up an app that would help me make decisions.. from the most basic to the actually important.

I was so completely drained by decision-fatigue and the pressure involved in making micro-decisions with others – like where to eat or what movie to watch.

The last 2 years have been spent actively bringing mīsmo to life; firstly, by learning to code, and then by learning to use AI to my coding advantage.

Every crossed t and macron'd ī on mīsmo are a result of tediously trying to create something people would have fun using.

*Ahem.. serious voice* ..so um, unlike large companies, mīsmo doesn't have investors or even a team. It's just moi and my savings account. I took a 10 month app-testing hiatus just so I could pay for some dentist bills last year.

The daily ongoing fees – including running servers, databases, APIs, and the searches that help power your decision-making experience - are happily funded by me.

But yep, every time someone uses mīsmo, there's a monetary cost behind the scenes.

My fairy floss dream has been to create a simple, fun, app – pesky ads and charging for every feature just isn't my jam.

So if mīsmo has helped you with decision-paralysis, petty arguments or heck, just have a good time – then I'd love if you'd consider "buying me a coffee".

Asking for help makes me feel physically ill, but at this stage mīsmo can't keep running in its current ad-free state.

Another way you can help, that doesn't require money – is simply spread the gospel of mīsmo.. rate it on the App store, randomly use it as a a verb, act like someone just arrived on this planet if they haven't heard of it before...

"yeah I'm down to watch a movie, but let's mīsmo it..."

"lololol I was embarrassed to admit I wanted macca's for lunch, but look - we all just got mīsmo.. and it's MACCAS!"

"wait... you've never used mīsmo before??"

.....these are all very normal scenarios that could naturally come up in conversation.. with your help :)
