💙 Disability Should Not Equal Poverty

Hi, I'm Minnie. living with multiple sclerosis (MS), navigating mental health challenges, and in recovery. As a recipient of the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), I receive $1,824.45 a month plus $204.20 for the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB), which isn’t enough to cover a living wage. But I'm working hard to create a better life.

I work self-employed and want to return to college to build a brighter future. I document my journey from Canadian disability poverty to rich life financial independence, sharing tips on budgeting, paying off debt, saving for emergencies, weight loss fitness journey and investing for retirement.
