Welcome to mílù!

mílù is an online micro-bakery serving the East LA and San Gabriel Valley area. My name is Rose, and I founded mílù as a way to explore and share my passion for food — and for the joy, comfort, and connection it can bring. It’s a personal project rooted in creativity, care, and community. Through it, I get to share the things I love most: thoughtful (and sometimes indulgent) treats, moments of gathering, and the celebration of flavor.

In Mandarin Chinese, mílù (迷路) means “lost.” But here, it’s not about losing your way — it’s about embracing the curiosity and wonder that can come from wandering unfamiliar paths. It’s a nod to exploration, openness, and the unexpected joy that can come from letting yourself follow where the road leads.

The offerings at mílù are inspired by both classic flavors and Taiwanese influences from my own childhood and culinary journey. Each item is made with intention — cozy, curated, and meant to be enjoyed by you, your loved ones, your neighbors, and anyone who could use a little pick-me-up.

Because sometimes, all we really need is a little treat :)
