Hi channel members,
Shoutout to Mark, Colin and Liya who are all working on this piece from Rockschool Grade 6. Today's vid is a talk-through of 2 classic drum fills from Bowie's Ziggy Stardust, originally play by Mick Woodmansey.
They're a great example of 16th note fills with 32nd note "bursts" in them to add excitement.
These fills happens at 1:10 (snare drum version) and 2:09 (full kit version) on Bowie’s original recording, and at bars 16 and 36 on the Rockschool version.

Of course, reverse the sticking given if you're left-handed on a left-handed kit. On Groove Scribe, you can just hit "STICKINGS", then "Reverse stickings R/L" to achieve this quickly.
Have fun, and please give us a shout if I can help in any way,
Mike
