A proposito di Midwife Em
a Registered Midwife and podcast host of Welcome to the Womb
Hello beautiful mama's and mama's-to-be, I'm Em and I've been a Registered Midwife for almost 10 years! I absolutely love caring for women and babies, but most importantly, I love sharing my knowledge with women and their families.
Education is absolutely key but it's often something that is missed in the hustle and bustle of our very busy maternity system (here in Australia and I'm sure across the world).
I've been wanting to create some easily accessible, free, and evidence-based information for women for a really long time, so that's where my instagram @Midwife_Em started, soon followed by my podcast Welcome to the Womb. It's so easy, and unfortunately common, for women to feel bullied and overwhelmed into making decisions, so my goal is to equip you all with some knowledge to help you feel empowered walking through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
It's definitely a passion project and something I want to continue to do well into the future, but with both the podcast and instagram (and a baby on the way!) it's definitely something that takes a lot of time! So if you're enjoying this free content, please feel free to shout me a coffee! (Well, in my case a tea or chai).
Always SO grateful for the kind words and support you all continue to show me!
