Über Michal Majka
author of the popular R package naivebayes
Hello, I'm Michal, an open-source R programmer passionate about statistics and machine learning.
I am the creator of a popular R package naivebayes, which provides efficient implementations of Naive Bayes classifiers for various classification tasks.
The naivebayes package has gained recognition within the R community and has been downloaded more than 400,000 times, helping users model their data effectively.
As an open-source project, I have dedicated countless hours to developing and maintaining this package to ensure its quality and usefulness.
The trust and impact of the naivebayes package in the research community are exemplified by its prominent use in a distinguished Nature Portfolio journal publication. This recognition at the highest level of research underscores the package's effectiveness and reliability. The publication titled "Gross tumour volume radiomics for prognostication of recurrence & death following radical radiotherapy for NSCLC" can be accessed through the following link: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41698-022-00322-3.
If you have found the naivebayes package valuable and it has benefited your projects, you now have the opportunity to contribute to its ongoing development. Your donation, regardless of its size, will be immensely appreciated and will directly contribute to further improving and expanding the capabilities of this package.Thank you for your support and for being a part of the naivebayes community!
