How do I repair the broken bond
Can a blossom be broken if its not fully formed?
Yet I see your broken pieces as I feel my own
The pain caused by distance makes the edges sharper
How can I mend what someone else broke?
Can I fix it? If the guilt is not mine to hold?
If the pain is not mine to bear why do I feel it 
A brief hug of calm not meant to stay

How can you feel attached to someone never there?
Separated by highways and toll lines, I wonder, can I fly yet?
