Google have already confirmed they're working with Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo on the upcoming Googlebooks (video here) and as we get closer to Autumn details are starting to be pieced together regarding the likely launch hardware.
I've been reading through some of the excellent articles put together by Masahide Omura on the recently launched gbookhub.io site covering the potential specs of some of the likely Googlebook launch models and it's looking incredibly interesting.
Full credit goes to Masahide for his research which looks to include cross-referencing unreleased device codenames found in open-source Chromium Gerrit firmware code with newly posted hardware test logs on Geekbench, internal OEM website database placeholders, and public wireless hardware regulatory filings like the FCC.
I have summarised the details of what look to be the likely Googlebook launch models, or at least part of the lineup, below. Although nothing is officially confirmed, if this is to give us a hint of the likely Googlebook hardware power and variety we'll see, it's pretty promising!
