If you're looking for your cheapest route into Googlebook ownership in the UK and Ireland, I believe this is it. The Acer Store UK and Acer Store Ireland now lists both the Intel Core Ultra 5 and Core Ultra 7 model of their new Acer Googlebook 14 as in stock.

Being able to buy direct from Acer is particularly great news for some of us, as if you have access to a eligible discount site such as Perks at Work, Blue Light Card, Student Beans or TOTUM, you'll have access to your own discount code for 15% off full priced items including the new Acer Googlebook 14. Note - I'm not 100% clear of which of these are valid for the Ireland store.
Please do let me know in the comments if I've missed other sites offering the 15% off code and I'll update this post.

That 15% discount brings the Acer Googlebook 14 Intel Core Ultra 5 model down to £849.99. I still can't get it quite to the equivalent of the US starting price of ~$900, but stick with me as there's more good news to come.

If you're interested in the Intel Core Ultra 7 model, that comes down to £934.99 after the 15% discount.

The news keeps getting better though, as although I'd recommend you double check the T&C, I believe you can still register for the promotion I shared recently with you on the MergeDroid YouTube channel and X, Threads and Bluesky, to send your Googlebook back after 100 days for a full refund if you're not happy with it.
It doesn't stop there either. You can also still register with Acer for their free bundle of accessories and add ons, including their 100w GaN charger (video), as I shared previously in this video. The extra warranty this offer also gives looks like a great add on.
For those who don't have access to a discount site, Acer themselves often run discount codes, such as the current "MYSTERY" code.
If you haven't already seen it, check out my initial hands on video with all 5 of the Googlebook launch models here.
It'd be great to hear from you in the comments on YouTube and the other MergeDroid socials if this post has helped you out.
If I've saved you a bit on your new Googlebook and you want to support the channel you can always buy me a coffee via the "Support" button below. Cheers!
