The MediaTek Kompanio Ultra powered Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514 is now available at Currys in the UK. You can find it under product ID 10299805. Up until now we've only seen it available directly from Acer's own online store.

It's a slightly different SKU from the one I reviewed (video here) as this NX.JRHEK.001 model only looks to come with 128GB of Universal Flash Storage (UFS), compared to the 256GB UFS on the NX.JRHEK.004 version which is still available from Acer directly.
It's still got the 12GB of RAM and super high resolution display (2880 x 1800) at 60Hz and comes with the optional backlit keyboard.
There's a slightly lower price than we've seen with the model at Acer, but that only seems fair to reflect the lower amount of storage to me.
As the new norm now in the UK and Europe, no USB C charger is included in the box, but you'll notice the offer to buy one with 20% off the price.
Let's hope we continue to see the Chromebook Plus Spin 514 become available at more retailers and wishful thinking maybe, but seeing a 16GB RAM model and/or a model with the 120hz 1920 x 1200 display would also be great.
