Congratulations on proving half this country is so gullible it could be conned into buying oceanside property in Saskatchewan!

You’ve been duped, bamboozled, and hoodwinked by Mark Carney and his Trump Derangement Syndrome circus, and your willful blindness to history is an embarrassment that’ll be studied in poli-sci classes for decades. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Liberals sanctimoniously claim to possess intellectual superiority, yes you enlightened Liberal voters, with your artisanal lattes and self-righteous yard signs, your frequent claim of superiority has been exposed for the sham it is. You’re not smarter than the rest of us; you’re just louder because... feelings.🥱

Let’s revisit 2018, when Justin Trudeau, your sanctimonious, floppy-haired messiah and TruAnon cult leader, played tough-guy at the G7 summit in Quebec, puffed up his chest declaring Canada wouldn’t be “pushed around” by Trump’s tariffs.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, a man who’d hold a grudge against a vending machine for shortchanging him, clapped back after landing in Singapore, with some heat: “Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!” (Washington Post, headline: “Trump again scolds Trudeau, says his criticism will cost Canada "a lot of money," June 12, 2018 linked below via Chicago Tribune).

Yet, CBC, CTV, and Global - those subsidized stenographers of Liberal talking points - conveniently forgot to spotlight this gem, and continue to do so.
Not a peep about Trudeau’s big mouth sparking Trump’s tariff tantrum back then, the tantrums that continue to be played out in the here and now, not one utterance to Trudeau's diplomatic face-plant, because why blame your hairballed poster boy when you can spin a tale of Trump the Tyrant for votes instead?

Pointing out Trudeau’s diplomatic fumble might make your golden boy look like the instigator he is - or catalyst, as Carney would say - not the victim he pretends to be.
Heaven forbid the media, gorging on our tax dollars, holds a Liberal accountable.😒

Today's Tariffs aren’t a sovereignty snatch; they're part of Trump’s petty payback for Trudeau’s ego trip. Trump’s vindictiveness is no secret - just look at his track record since taking office:
- He dressed down Ukraine’s president in the Oval Office, whining about aid like a child denied a second cookie (The Independent, June 16, 2025) on live televison.
- He berated African leaders, sneering at their nations as if they were his personal punching bag (The Guardian, March 2025), again on live television.
This is Trump’s playbook: a petulant older sibling who finds a weak spot and pokes it relentlessly and VERY PUBLICLY!

Our media and your witless Liberal government handed Trump that weak spot on a silver platter. When Trudeau called tariffs “very dumb” and speculated Trump wanted to “collapse the Canadian economy” to annex us (BBC, March 4, 2025), Trump saw the panic and leaned in, repeating the 51st state line because it got a rise out of ALL of you, not because he meant it, but because your Chicken Little hysterics made it fun (Jason Kenney, June 10, 2025) He plucked that nerve like a bully tormenting a younger sibling, and you fell for it.
Every. Single. Time.

At his core, Trump’s the childish king of Turd Mountain, desperate to be right, reveling in your overreactions. He didn’t repeat the 51st state line because he wants Canada - he did it because you Liberals, with Andrew Coyne and legacy media cheering, ran around like terrified lemmings, proving you’re too stupid to see the troll for what it is. I cant dwell on this point enough!

Trump loves grandstanding and making examples out of others, regardless of whether he is right or not. He lacks political decorum and behaves like a boor in stark contrast to the demands of the office he holds. I do not like Trump as a person, but as a president, he earns some respect for following through with his promises, and for not allowing the global political elites to dictate his actions.
Its a complex contradiction, that at the end of the day matters none to Canada. Because Trump is going to Trump, and f*ck everyone in Canada who doesnt like it, he is not losing any sleep over us.
No matter how you feel about Trump, at the end of the day he was democratically elected by Americans. He is putting America first. He campaigned on it. The people elected him for it and there is nothing we as Canadians can do to change it, so grow up and deal with it. Just be thankful he cant be president after this four year term is up.

So now, fast forward to 2025, and Carney rides in, campaigning on the absurd fever dream that Trump’s tariffs are a sovereignty-snatching plot to make Canada the 51st state. You brain-dead Liberal voters with your unearned superiority complexes bought it, clutching your pearls as if Trump was drafting annexation papers. You gobbled it up like it was free candy at a carnival.

American political voices on Canadian news called his 51st state quip a joke, a jab to rile up the thin-skinned libiots of Canada.
In particular, he knew how gullible and low-brow Justin Trudeau is and saw an easy mark. And when Justin returned to Canada claiming the sky was falling, Trump clinked bourbon glasses with his inner circle, in celebration. (Global News February 7, 2025).

But our media, with Andrew Coyne leading the charge - Canada’s poster boy for Trump Derangement Syndrome - ran a 36-hour panic-fest, screeching that our nation was one tariff away from becoming America’s backyard, riling up Canadians knowing the election loomed.
And of course, in fear of Pierre Poilievre cutting off taxpayer subsidies, media went full-potato retard pushing this proganada to save their paychecks - your paycheck and dinner table be damned.

Coyne’s columns, dripping with apocalyptic dread, turned Trump’s trolling into a national crisis, ignoring the 2018 evidence suggesting Trump’s tariffs were borne of petty payback (National Post, June 11, 2018).

Our press, fattened on public funds, skipped the history lesson because it might tarnish Trudeau’s halo. Not one outlet dusted off that 2018 Washington Post piece tying Trump’s tariffs to Trudeau’s blunder. It’s as if our newsrooms, bloated on public funds, decided history’s too inconvenient when it points the finger at Liberal missteps. At the very least Katie Simpson, who is the Washington CBC News correspondent should have picked up on it, but fan the flames of false intentions instead.

And all you Liberal supporters ate it up, didn’t you? Half of voting Canadians - yes, half - swallowed the Liberal Party’s Trump Derangement fearmongering whole, convinced Trump’s tariffs were a plot to erase our sovereignty.

And the absurdity peaks today, at the G7 in Kananaskis. Trump stands next to Carney, the anti-Trump crusader, and casually lobs insults at Trudeau on live TV, dishing out revenge for his own public humilation at the hands of Trudeau in 2018, blaming Trudeau for Russia’s G8 ouster in 2014 (wrong year, but who’s counting?). You can see Mark Carney squirm and try to change the conversation, to no avail.

The man holds grudges like a squirrel hoards nuts, and yet you Liberals, with your vaunted educations and smug superiority, didn’t see this coming? You superior beings, who brag about your 'degrees' and 'critical thinking,' couldn’t connect the dots from 2018 to now?

Are you too lazy to Google, too stupid to remember, or just willfully blind because you're addicted to feeling 'morally superior' to those icky common-sense #Conservatives at any cost? It’s as if your memory - along with the media’s - got tossed into a shredder labeled “Liberal Convenience.”
I spoke about this exact situation extensively in the lead up to the last election, and all you liberal sycophants called me every name in the book, or called me a russian/chinese/india bot. 🤨

Your NDP sidekicks, those self-righteous antisemetic fake moral crusaders, are just as complicit, choosing Carney’s nonsense while ignoring Trudeau’s role in lighting the fuse, preferring to fear the mis and disinformation pushed out in unfounded garbage memes about Pierre instead of being sane and informed.
You call yourselves the smart ones, the educated elite, yet you’re blind to the obvious: Trump’s tariffs were always based on revenge, not a land grab.

Our legacy media, those taxpayer-leeching propagandists, didn’t do their due diligence because it might tarnish the Liberal halo. It’s infuriating - nay, maddening - that you, the so-called 'superior' voter, lapped it up without a shred of skepticism.

Trump’s jabs at Trudeau today, again on live televison, with Carney standing there like a deer in headlights, are the cosmic slap all you liberals deserve.
You’ve been duped by a party and a press that treat you like obedient sheep, and you’re too busy being screeching banshees to notice.

So here’s a wake-up call. Canada’s Liberal faithful: your party and its media cronies sold you a lie, and you bought it because it fed your ego. Trump’s tariffs weren’t about annexation; they were about settling scores with Trudeau’s big mouth. Carney’s campaign was a masterclass in fearporn gaslighting, not fact.
