Hi! I'm a writer, podcaster and an independent journalist from India, currently based in California. My occasional (bi or tri-monthly) newsletter is MX's Mixtapes, where you can expect to receive to receive at least one if not more of the following: - book reviews of literary fiction, poetry or horror; soundscapes; my own weird stories, and an end-of-year calendar for next year containing my photography, writing set to publicly available archival music, plus some more.

My background: As a journalist, I have reported from India on refugees as well as human rights and social justice issues, and written about the history and heritage of my hometown in India. My fiction has appeared in Storm Cellar and Newfound. My books podcast Last Book Alive featured book reviews of international fiction, with the aim of building a community around literary critique.
