🌱 Still Growing: A Mother’s Journey Between Family, Career, and Purpose

Being a full-time mother does not mean giving up on having a career. Sometimes, it simply means building one differently.

I am a mother raising a teenager, a pre-teen, and a toddler, while managing a home, supporting my children through their different stages, and continuing my professional work in the mining and environmental industry. Some days are productive. Some days are beautifully chaotic. There are moments when work has to wait because a child needs me, and moments when I work quietly after everyone is asleep.

At the same time, I am taking courses and learning new skills to transition into professional freelancing and create opportunities that can work alongside my responsibilities as a mother. It is not always easy to start something new when life is already full, but I have learned that progress does not have to be fast to be meaningful.

This journey is for mothers who still have dreams beyond motherhood, but also deeply value the privilege of being present for their children. We do not always have to choose between being a good mother and pursuing a meaningful career. Sometimes, we can build a path that makes room for both.

And through every uncertain step, my faith in Jesus reminds me that I do not have to carry everything alone. There are seasons when the only thing I can do is pray, take the next step, and trust God with what I cannot control.
