I often meet new people at trade shows or while traveling, and as a result they often want a business card. I have found it wasteful as contact info changes, it’s annoying to carry them around etc.
I wrote an application called MyCard for Android a few years ago (found here) that stores your contact info and shares it via QR Code or VCF to make it faster for sharing details.
Recently, I was at a customer visit and was asked if there was an iOS version - while MyCard QR Code format does support iOS’s contact app - there isn’t a QRCode generator. I have decided to take this up as an opportunity to see how hard swift is to learn and what the publishing experience will be like in the AppStore vs Google Play.
