Howdy. I'm the author of the best selling book about LGBTQ mental health, Straight Jacket, and also 'Pride: The Story of the LGBTQ Equality Movement', and the play 'Blowing Whistles'. I was editor of Attitude magazine for 8 years where I interviewed folk such as Madonna, Daniel Radcliffe and Lady Gaga, and convinced Prince William to pose for the cover of a gay magazine for the first time. 

I'm also extremely passionate about the climate and environmental crises and have essays in both 'This is Not A Drill: The Extinction Rebellion handbook' (Penguin) and 'Letters to the Earth' (Harper Collins).

I spend alot of my time working on initiatives to engage the media with the climate crisis and giving talks on LGBTQ issues and mental health and often on how both of these intersect.
