Hey 👋, I'm Matiss and I'm the developer of Gene, an AI assistant for Obsidian. I have spent years looking for tips and tricks to help me manage my second brain and with the release of chatGPT, I knew that it would make life much, MUCH easier.

I found a handful oftools which allowed you to leveraage OpenAI's LLMs (large language models) but they were all locked behind some sort of paywall so I decided to make my own tool and make it available to the world for free.

While I do not expect to receive any support, I would be extremely grateful as it lets me know that there are other people like me who want more tools like this.
