In times of Hardship

Jun 24, 2022

Can anyone relate to me how hard it is to be alone and don't have anyone to help you? When you attempted to reach out to them and they already sound hesitant to know what you need, and would not even want to ask if you need help financially or something else.

I noticed one thing for people who do have money or are well off is that it's hard for them to ask someone aside from giving comforting words to say, How much do you need to help you? or Do you need money assistance? I know that we are not an obligation to anyone else. But instead, we are obligated to ourselves only. I know that for a fact but my point is why does it looks so hard to be giving to others when you know you have the means to share and be kind to help others, especially coming from immediate family or relatives? There is a saying “Blood is thicker than water” but I thought that would also refer to having a family or relatives that in times of hardship you are facing will always be there for you. Yet, you get to have help from people you never even met and are more willing to help you. We didn't choose our situation if we became wealthy or poor. It just so happens that sometimes it is how your roots have good connections or not that lead you to become who you are now.

Don't measure helping others once know that you are blessed to be a blessing to others. That's who I am when I used to have money and everything back in my country. I never want people to beg for help but instead, I initiate to ask them. This is me only. Just saying.

Especially in this time of uncertainty and financial hardship, I am having now. And I am not posting this to force anyone and give me help but it would be of great feeling for me to receive anything that comes from your heart.
