Offri un caffè a Mary Elizabeth

My name is Mary Elizabeth and I’ve been in love with the ocean and the life that exists beneath the waves since I was little. In middle school, my science teacher showed us a film about bioluminescent organisms living in the deep ocean and the scientists working to study them, and that was when I knew what I wanted to do when I grew up! I followed my passion to earn a bachelor’s degree in marine biology and became even more fascinated with all that the ocean holds in its mysterious depths. I now spend a lot of my free time drawing and water coloring my favorite sea creatures. I love sharing the things I love about this incredible underwater world with all of you, in hopes of inspiring your wonder and curiosity, and bringing awareness to some of the threats facing our watery world. As Jacques Cousteau once said, “the sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever”. This has certainly been true for me, and I hope that by sharing my designs and some of the awe inspiring facts I’ve learned along the way, the ocean will capture you in its net of wonder, too!
