Writing a memoir about a 2,200-mile trail that showed me the way home.
I'm a writer and thru-hiker penning a memoir about surviving divorce, radical self-acceptance, and the 2,200-mile-long trail that showed me how, for the first time in my life, to love being alone. While my adventures take me to long trails worldwide, I will always call the Appalachian mountains home. Occasional donations help support my writing, enable my bottomless coffee addiction, and when living outside for months-on-end while hiking other long trails, keep my pack stocked with tuna and instant mashed potatoes.
