Hi! Thank you for being here!

My name is Mary, and I'm an independent artist and lifelong learner. I'm raising funds to support myself and my creative and educational goals:

Art - canvas, paints, and packing materials and time to make larger pieces.

Writing - I'm writing a book about my experience surviving childhood trauma - sharing our stories lets other know they are not alone. ('About me' at the bottom of the page.)

Car - maintaining and working on my used car until I can afford a work truck.

Work - I paint and do minor repairs by trade, and I for now I have used equipment. If I made some upgrades, it would improve my rates = more time for my creative goals.

Medical - at this moment in my story, I am just beginning to navigate some neurological issues, the symptoms of which for me have been life long. And I didn't know that was going to become such a huge part of my story.

Educational - I look forward to a future in practitionership, I have a lot of classes to take!

Mutual aid - I have so many friends and loved ones whose needs exceed my own - I just want to be able to take care of my people.

Anything helps, a little goes a long, long way - especially when we're talking about prayers and good vibes, and I mean that. I look forward to continue showing up in life in the ways that I long to! Thank you for reading, thank you for seeing me.

About me:

I'll be 40 this year. I started writing a book last year, bc I think my story is important. My parents (no contact since 2025) were a*dicts and separated when I was a small child. I spent my childhood in narc*ssistic enmeshment w my mother - which I've come to learn is emotional inc*st. As a teenager I found and came to rely on alcohol and substances. I functioned through my 20s in addiction, which ended in 2017. Since then, I've had several relapses - the last of which was in 2023, after moving back to my hometown having fled domestic viol*nce. I'm beyond grateful that as of 2025, I am healthy, stable, medicated, sound and free. 

Thank you to those who see what I'm building and want to help. Becoming the person I needed to rely on has taken my entire life. I want to give back to this life by using my talents and skills to help others and express my gratitude. Thank you for reading
