This release marks a slightly different chapter for the project.
Over the past few releases I deliberately focused on completing the application's core roadmap-Decks, Print-Ready PDF Export and Export Profiles. Along the way there were countless ideas and community requests that I wanted to build, but I kept putting them aside so I could stay focused on those larger milestones.
With those foundations now complete, I finally had the opportunity to go back and tackle many of those long-standing ideas.
The result is Version 0.8.0. Rather than introducing one huge feature, this release improves almost every part of HeroQuest Card Creator.
Interactive preview editing, direct artwork manipulation, new templates, custom Hero Back logos, richer body text editing, a complete Help Centre, redesigned library workflows, Deck Preview and dozens of workflow refinements all come together to make the application feel significantly more polished than previous versions.
It's probably the most satisfying release I've worked on since PDF Export-not because of one headline feature, but because almost every part of the application feels noticeably better than it did before.
As always, thank you for supporting the project, sharing your ideas, reporting bugs and encouraging me to keep pushing the application forward.
