Through drawing, I investigate what it means to be human in our current, fluid world, in which technology occupies an ever-increasing place.
I depict both transcendent dreams of a digital heaven, where man can be preserved for eternity, and daily reality, in which an abundance of distorted information makes it had to distinguish the truth, and contact transgresses more and more via a screen, with alienating and polarizing effects.
Worlding: residency London
During the month of November, I will work at the Worlding residency in the heart of London. I will use this month to speak with people who, from their various professions, offer me new perspectives on my subject.
For example, a philosopher, a sociologist, a fabricator of robots. I am curious what their perception is of the social impact of technology on man. After each interview I will make drawings and ultimately combe these drawings in large works.

Though part of the residency cost is covered by funds I am looking to fund the remainder. I'd be grateful for whatever small amount you would support me with, and will in turn keep you updated on the developments of the project.
Should you contribute 50 euros or more, I will send you a small edition flowing forth from this residency. In that case please contact me.
