It's been a minute since my last update, and I've got a fun one for you — Ribbit the Hopper is officially here! 🌿
I have to tell you about a mistake I made while testing this pattern, because it's too good a lesson not to share. I placed the eyes too close together and too far forward on the head — and instead of a sweet little pond frog, I ended up with something that looked... a little bit alien. 👽 Same pattern, same stitch counts, completely different vibe, all because of eye placement.
It turns out that's one of the biggest things that can make or break an amigurumi, even when every single round is worked perfectly. So I fixed it, slowed down, and made sure the pattern walks you through exactly where to place them — spaced wider, flush against the curve of the head — so you don't end up with the same "alien frog" moment I had.
